They were special weeks: during our Open House Weeks we opened the doors of the Schwarzwaldhaus to curious guests – and saw many faces light up in wonder. In a personal atmosphere, visitors could see for themselves the museum-like interiors, the historic festival hall and the sweeping private park.
Encounters that stay with you
What delighted us most were the personal conversations. Over a cup of coffee, on a walk through the park or lingering in the festival hall, encounters grew far beyond a simple viewing. Many guests took their time, asked about the history of the house and let themselves be drawn in by the special mood of the Wolftal.
What touched us most: guests who felt at home from the very first moment – and, as they left, already wanted to know when they could come back.

These are the moments we were able to share with our guests during the Open House Weeks – and we ourselves kept marvelling at the atmosphere this place holds.
Anyone who has been here leaves a little differently – slowed down, rich with impressions and often already wishing to return. That is exactly why we prepared the Schwarzwaldhaus with so much care: so that it is not only a house, but an experience.
